Bio

Alexis is a registered nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over 10 years of nursing experience in Pediatric Intensive Care and OB nursing. Her passion for walking alongside families as they navigate the early days of feeding, along with her own struggles and challenges during 4 separate breastfeeding journeys, is what inspired her to become an IBCLC.  With a blend of clinical expertise and heartfelt compassion, Alexis aims to help parents feel supported in all stages of their feeding journey.

Her approach is rooted in listening first and tailoring care to each family's unique goals and circumstances. She believes that every parent deserves to feel confident, encouraged, and empowered in their feeding journey, in an environment that is free of pressure and judgment. She finds joy in celebrating both the big milestones and the small personal victories, knowing that each step strengthens the special bond between parent and child.

Through personalized consultations, education, and ongoing support, Alexis brings warmth, encouragement, and practical guidance to families. Her mission is to create a safe and welcoming space where parents feel heard, cared for, and confident in nurturing their little one.

Message to new parents

After having 4 very different feeding journeys with my own children, I understand how the support you have available to you can make the newborn stage a time of great joy or great stress. At the end of the day, my goal is to make sure that each parent feels cared for and confident, so that they can best enjoy the time with their baby.
