They/them/theirs

Bio

Andi (they/them) is a certified postpartum doula with a passion for supporting families through one of the most tender seasons of life. Andi became a doula because they saw a gap in the support offered to families as they adjust to having a new child in their home, and their aim is to fill that gap with their supportive and caring presence.

Andi has worked as a childcare professional for many years as a nanny, infant and toddler teaching assistant, and Montessori teaching assistant. They have worked primarily with children ages 0-3, including supporting families with multiples and nanny shares. This wealth of experience lends an understanding of child development as well as having witnessed firsthand the challenges that parents face in the early years.

As a postpartum doula certified through ProDoula, Andi’s desire is to serve families of all backgrounds and needs—LGBTQ+ families, parents or children with disabilities, neurodivergent parents, adoptive parents, and more. Their passion for social justice and equity for all is a driving force in their practice and extends to every area of life.
