Bio

Anna is a newly trained birth doula with a heart for serving families during one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives. She was drawn to birth work through a deep interest in maternal health, advocacy, and the powerful role support plays in shaping birth experiences. She believes birth is a deeply personal and sacred experience and is passionate about helping families feel informed, respected, and supported every step of the way. Anna graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding how social systems, access, and support influence health experiences.

As a doula, Anna shows up as a calm, steady presence—someone who listens closely, offers reassurance, and provides evidence-based information so families feel confident in their choices. She values informed consent, collaborative care, and meeting each family exactly where they are. Whether a birth unfolds as planned or takes unexpected turns, her goal is for clients to feel heard, empowered, and never alone. While she is early in her doula journey, she brings intention, preparation, and genuine care to every family she serves.

Anna’s work is deeply rooted in her faith and her belief that God’s presence can bring peace, strength, and comfort during life’s most transformative moments. She views this work as a calling to serve families with humility, compassion, and love. She is especially mindful of the lasting impact birth experiences can have on individuals and families and strives to support families in a way that leaves them feeling confident, cared for, and supported long after birth.

Message to new parents

I’m drawn to this work because I genuinely love connecting with people and building real relationships during meaningful moments. I try to show up in a way that feels approachable, calm, and authentic—so families feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and simply being themselves. Supporting families during this transition is something I care deeply about, and I value the opportunity to be part of such an important season.
