Bria Stallworth

Bria Stallworth is a newly trained doula eager to support families through post-partum care in the Gold Coast and River North surrounding areas of Chicago, IL. Her optimistic approach to life’s challenges, dedication to helping others and desire to always put her best foot forward is commendable. Her aura is very uplifting and warm, resembling an “old school” mannerism. Since a child Bria grew a love for infant care as she always provided an extra set of hands for assistance. She enjoyed helping with feeding, changing, bathing and was entrusted early on to watch infants in the absence of parents. Within the last few years, she has worked as a Home Health Aid providing care for the elderly. She cared for her late Grandmother who was bedridden until her final breath. Currently, she is enrolled at City Colleges of Chicago expecting entry into the Midwifery program set for Spring 2027. In addition, she has years of volunteer and mentor experience; profoundly motivating young girls in Chicago and South Suburbs. 

Bria’s passion for care was ignited as a child. Her fascination with the science of impregnation, the journey of pregnancy and the birthing process ultimately developed into her career path of becoming a doula and eventually a Midwife. She desires to assist families transition back into a smooth daily life schedule following childbirth. She understands that it takes a village to raise a child and vows to continue to fill the gap.

The families Bria works with will appreciate her warm and hospitable mannerisms. She is very sympathetic, understanding and cheerful. Bria believes that adjusting after childbirth looks different for all families and takes pleasure in being able to supply relief. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, skating, cooking and baking.
