Chloe Qabilah Smith

Chloe Smith is a birth doula based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She supports birthers using a blend of traditional and holistic practices, helping them feel informed, and supported throughout pregnancy, labor, and the early postpartum period. Her approach to birth support centers hands-on care that utilizes techniques such as rebozo work, guided movement, labor positioning, breathwork, and warmth-based therapies to encourage pelvic release, relaxation, and steady labor progress. Drawing inspiration from Ayuverdic and African diasporic birth traditions, her care emphasizes grounding and emotional safety methods as essential components to the birthing process. Chloe is currently a student midwife and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She has been assisting with births since 2022, and her commitment to birthwork is rooted in a desire to improve maternal health outcomes through client-centered, culturally responsive care. Her academic background allows her to approach birth with an understanding that extends beyond the physical, recognizing the impact of social systems, cultural history, and lived experience on birthing outcomes. She emphasizes informed decision-making, consent, and agency within all birthing spaces.

Outside of her clinical work, Chloe enjoys spending time outdoors, often hiking and exploring natural spaces throughout North Texas. She regularly practices yoga and participates in meditative spaces, deepening her connection to both her body and the local community. Chloe is known for her calm yet grounding presence, offering guidance that is attentive, clear, and adaptable to the flow of each birth. She is dedicated to cultivating birthing spaces where families feel capable and supported— confident in their ability to trust their bodies and their right to a healthy birth experience.
