Chynna Tang

Becoming a parent is one of the most profound transitions life has to offer, and Chynna Tang believes no one should have to navigate it alone.  Based in Chicago, Chynna is a Full Spectrum and Medicaid Certified Doula. Her path to becoming a birth and postpartum doula began nearly four years ago during her own fourth trimester after welcoming her daughter. Experiencing that intense, beautiful, and life-changing season firsthand made Chynna realize just how vital compassionate, grounded support is for growing families. That experience inspired her to step into birth work, ensuring that parents feel truly seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.

Since 2025, Chynna has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of families, tailoring her care to meet each unique set of values, backgrounds, and birth goals. She approaches every client with the deep empathy, sensitivity, and hands-on guidance she sought during her own childbearing journey. To deepen her clinical knowledge and offer the highest level of care, Chynna is also continuing her education as a midwifery student. Whether providing evidence-based information, physical support during labor, or gentle reassurance during the postpartum period, her goal is to help parents feel confident and empowered.

Outside of her birth work, Chynna holds a degree in Media and Television and loves creating visual media on film sets. Above all, she cherishes exploring with her daughter and helping her discover the world around her. Chynna looks forward to connecting with new families and walking alongside them as they welcome their little ones.

As a mother myself, I understand exactly what this process can feel like.  It's my privilege to be there with you as an advocate, guide, cheer leader, or someone to just hold your hand.  This is not an experience that you'll ever have to feel alone in.
