Datia Rosenberg

Datia Rosenberg is a passionate birth doula and Lamaze certified childbirth educator. With over eight years of experience in the United States, and having attended and helped an approximate of 60+ families, Datia combines education and advocacy to empower her clients throughout their birth journeys. She is also certified with DONA International, a prestigious doula organization. Known for her warm and professional relationships with the midwives at her local hospital in Champaign, Illinois, Datia is committed to supporting families before, during, and after birth.

Originally from Mexico City, Datia brings a rich cultural background and bilingual fluency to her practice. Her background as a licensed psychologist blends really well with the home visits and the education she provides to her clients previous to approaching their due date. She is always available on the phone or text as well as e-mail to support and answer questions or concerns the families might have. She has been married for 24 years to her best friend and the love of her life. Together, they love to travel the world and spend time with their six pets and their almost adult children when they are available. She is an avid reader and is very connected to nature and the outdoors. Datia’s passion for birth work continues to grow with every birth she accompanies. 

I will be your doula but also your friend, sister, companion, counselor, massage therapist, BFF and strongest cheerleader. I will be there to coach you and remind you that in this birth journey you are the main character and decision maker so believe in yourself and your ability to birth. Affirmations and support is what you need the most of to have a healthy and memorable experience. Don't fear your labor, get excited and be proactive. Be informed and you'll be able to make the best decisions. Speak out and make yourself be heard because you are not sick, you are having a baby and you have the right to decide how you want to bring your baby into this world.
