Bio

Dayla Sanders is a certified birth and postpartum doula and the founder of Heartfelt Beginnings Doula Care, serving families in Walled Lake, Michigan, and the surrounding communities. With a nurturing and client-centered approach, Dayla empowers parents to feel confident, supported, and deeply cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, and the tender postpartum season. Her motto, “Empowering you every step of the way,” shines through in the way she builds trusting relationships and creates safe, calm spaces for families to welcome new life.

Dayla is a Certified Labor Doula (CD-L) and Certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula (CD-PIC). She has supported families through countless unique journeys, bringing both evidence-based knowledge and a compassionate presence to every birth space. Dayla is especially passionate about helping parents explore their options, trust their instincts, and enter their birth experience feeling grounded and informed. Families often describe her as patient, kind, and steady—a supportive partner who brings warmth, calm, and reassurance during even the most unpredictable moments of labor. She shows up with a non-judgmental, non-biased approach, honoring each family’s unique values, preferences, and choices.

Dayla has always felt a natural pull toward nurturing others and creating spaces where people feel safe and supported. Becoming a doula allowed her to bring that calling into one of life’s most sacred moments—helping parents welcome their babies with confidence and peace of mind. When she’s not supporting families, Dayla enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, serving her community, and filling her home with cozy, heartwarming moments. These personal joys weave into her practice, reminding the families she serves that birth and postpartum care are not just medical experiences, but sacred, human ones.
