Devisha is a full spectrum Doula who not only assist clients in birth and postpartum, but also assist with breastfeeding and infant loss and or miscarriage. Devisha has been a doula since 2021 but provided care for mothers since 2015. Devisha has her BSN in Nursing for 13 years and been in healthcare for 17 years. Caring for people has always been her passion. Advocacy has also been an integral skill of ensuring optimal outcomes for each person, family that she encounters.
Devisha pursued becoming a Doula because she became more interested in how to better support mothers due to her difficult postpartum and birth experiences. Devisha saw there was a need to advocate and support families to bridge the gap and to ensure that everyone felt as a vital part of brining the newborn home. Also due to her experience of having to relactate and experiencing two NICU babies, it was necessary to provide that compassionate support to the mother and families during that stressful transition time. Devisha shows up for her families in a way they need it the most. She is an intuitive listener, she cares from her whole heart and she provides care that each individual feels like family.
Devisha is a mother of 4 with one rainbow baby and a wife. She enjoys spending time with her family, learning new skills such as crocheting, making herbal blends, and hiking. She also loves gardening and plants they always have a way to help her find peace.
