Eleanor has been a postpartum doula since 2017—but she’s been nurturing babies and families her entire life. As a mom of four and aunt to 18, she brings more than two decades of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the early days with a newborn.
After 15 years in the corporate world, Eleanor followed her heart into a more meaningful path, becoming a certified doula through Doula Trainings International—an organization rooted in justice and compassion. She’s supported dozens of families through birth and postpartum care, eventually focusing on the tender window after baby’s arrival.
Families describe Eleanor as gentle, non-judgmental, and truly intuitive. She’s the kind of support person who listens deeply, offers just the right tip at the right time, and reminds you to trust yourself as a parent. Her goal is to meet you where you are, offering calm, reassuring care tailored to your needs.
When she’s not working with families, you’ll find her cheering on her kids from the bleachers or spending time with her large, close-knit family in Oak Park.
My primary goal as a postpartum doula is to ensure new parents are getting the rest, nourishment, encouragement, and guidance they need in order to feel confident and learn to trust their instincts. In addition to whole-hearted infant care, I love to handle daily responsibilities like dishes, laundry, and meal-prep in order to allow parents the time and space they need to recharge their batteries and bond with their babies.
