Eva is a certified full-spectrum doula and is based in Chicago, Illinois. She is dedicated to ensuring that every birthing person feels empowered, supported, and comfortable throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.
She holds a Master of Public Health from Northwestern University, where she focused on maternal and child health. Her professional background includes work within Chicago’s public health sector and several nonprofits dedicated to reproductive care access and birth justice. Eva is a committed advocate at both the systemic and individual levels in the birth space. She also brings over ten years of childcare experience, including caring for her beloved 1- and 3-year-old niece and nephew.
In addition to her knowledge of childbirth and the postpartum period, Eva brings a can-do attitude and is always ready to roll up her sleeves to support families however she can. She has a natural talent for organizing, cleaning, and cooking, and loves collaborating with birthing people and families to find creative, personalized ways to meet their needs.
When she’s not providing doula support, Eva enjoys running outdoors, rock climbing, listening to live music, and spending time with friends and family.
My hope for new parents is that they feel empowered with the tools, support, and nurturing environment they need to lean into this new chapter as fully as possible. I want them to know that it is always okay to ask for help and that they never have to navigate this experience alone. Having a baby isn’t an easy experience, but with the right support, it can be an incredibly beautiful one.
