Felicia Rivas is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) serving families across the Houston area, including Pearland, Friendswood, Clear Lake, League City, and Baytown. As a busy mom of three—two boys and a baby girl- Felicia knows how unpredictable life with kids can be; she brings that same real life understanding into every consult. The addition of a new family member is beautiful and challenging at the same time. Felicia’s approach to care is flexible, judgment free, and tailored to each family’s unique rhythm.
Before becoming an IBCLC, Felicia spent nearly a decade as an ICU nurse, earning her RN in 2012. Her passion for caring for critically ill patients shifted after the birth of her first child in 2018, when she experienced her own breastfeeding struggles with very little support. That experience sparked her commitment to ensuring families never feel alone in their feeding journey. She went on to earn three lactation credentials—Certified Lactation Counselor (2022), Advanced Nurse Lactation Consultant (2024), and IBCLC (2025)—to expand access to high quality lactation care for families who might otherwise go without it.
Education has always been at the heart of Felicia’s work. Whether she’s teaching a prenatal couple, guiding a new parent through latch techniques, or explaining the “why” behind a feeding plan, she believes that understanding empowers families. Her approach blends clinical expertise, compassion, and real life perspective to help parents feel confident, supported, and capable as they welcome their newest family member.
I love working with new and growing families because I know how overwhelming those early days can feel, and I want parents to feel genuinely supported. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, honor your unique routines, and help you reach the feeding goals that matter most to you. You deserve care that feels warm, practical, and rooted in real‑life experience, and that’s exactly how I show up for every family.
