Imani Stallworth is a Full-Spectrum Doula serving families throughout Chicago, Illinois. She provides compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based support during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, loss, and healing. Her specialties include VBAC support, cesarean support, birth support, postpartum care, and emotional support through life’s many transitions.
Before becoming a doula, Imani spent more than 12 years working in Early Childhood Education, 8 years as a nanny, and time as a Registered Behavior Technician. These experiences gave her a strong foundation in child development, newborn care, and family support. She completed her Full-Spectrum Doula training through Embrace Partum Health in 2026.
Imani’s passion for birth work is deeply personal. Her experiences with pregnancy loss, an unexpected cesarean birth, and a successful VBAC inspired her to support families with the same compassionate care she once received. Families appreciate her calm, nurturing presence, practical guidance, and commitment to helping them feel informed, empowered, and supported. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, baking, cooking, writing poetry, and building community.
Supporting families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond is a privilege. I want every family I work with to feel supported, respected, and empowered to make the choices that are right for them. You do not have to navigate this journey alone—I would be honored to walk alongside you.
