Jackie Drusch

Jackie is a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant based in Mansfield, Texas. She has worked as an RN IBCLC in several different regions of the country, both in inpatient and outpatient settings. These experiences have provided Jackie with the opportunity to diversify her approach to infant feeding.

Her nursing career began as a postpartum nurse where she fell in love with helping new parents navigate the first few days with a newborn. Jackie was also fascinated by the science of breastfeeding and infant/maternal bonding. She very quickly realized her passion was in educating and empowering new moms to achieve their breastfeeding goals which lead her to pursue her IBCLC certification in 2018. Jackie stands by the old adages of “Knowledge is Power” and “It Takes a Village” and that’s why she is passionate about educating and supporting new parents with a multidisciplinary, whole family approach.

In addition to her professional experience, Jackie successfully breastfed both of her children for 8 months and 13 months, respectively. She learned a lot along the way as a new mom with her first and faced several medical challenges with her second which made breastfeeding difficult. She truly understands and appreciates that each and every breastfeeding journey is unique and different and having an informed support system in place is the key to success. Jackie considers herself a lifelong learner of all things lactation and she is excited about using her always growing knowledge and expertise to help new families overcome breastfeeding challenges and meet THEIR feeding goals.
