Jade Chance

Jade Chance is a Birth and Postpartum Doula. A native of Detroit, Michigan, she has over a decade of experience in childbirth support. She is also a mother of 5 children and a postpartum chef who focuses the mothers' recovery and wellness.

She is certified with DONA International, and has trained with The Center for Childbearing Year (2011), Sacred Path Doula Training (2023), and continues to build on her existing knowledge .  Jade helps new mothers slow down, navigate the transition, and integrate into parenthood.

She supports each family by customizing a unique birth plan or postpartum plan prioritizing healing the first 40 days of postpartum care. 

Jade ensures expectant and new parents have the knowledge and resources to thrive while navigating labor, delivery and the initial weeks following. 

 Jade’s mission is to help new parents feel seen, supported, and cared for during one of the most transformative times in their lives. 

As a mother of five beautiful children and a woman with four different birthing experiences, Jade knows firsthand the gaps in care and the kind of support families need. When she is not supporting birthing mothers, Jade enjoys coloring, developing recipes, and traveling.

I'm drawn to do this work because I believe every family deserves to feel supported, informed, and cared for during childbirth and postpartum. I show up with knowledge, compassion, and calm presence—helping parents rest, heal, and gain confidence without judgment or pressure. My goal is for families to feel truly supported, not just cleared for discharge.
