Jadyn Allen is a birth and postpartum doula supporting families in Chicago and the surrounding areas. A Howard University graduate with a background in Health Management and Education, and Maternal and Child Health, she brings a grounded, respectful approach to birth and family care. Certified through Partum Health’s EMBRACE training, Jadyn helps families understand their options and navigate decisions with confidence, meeting each family where they are and honoring their pace and priorities.
Her work is shaped by caregiving, volunteering, and leadership experiences, alongside formal training in public health and health education. Jadyn has supported children and youth through tutoring and reproductive health advocacy and gained insight into pediatric health systems through policy and administration, shadowing at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. As a student leader with Halo G.R.E.E.N., a campus organization focused on horticulture therapy, food justice, and sustainability, she engaged in community efforts centered on wellness and access, deepening her understanding of holistic health and equity-focused care.
With an understanding that culture, identity, and lived experiences shape pregnancy, birth, and postpartum periods, Jadyn blends evidence-informed guidance with holistic care that supports both physical and emotional well-being. Her approach prioritizes a nonjudgmental, calming space that helps reduce stress and allows families to feel empowered through each transition. She believes birth belongs to the family and feels honored to support and protect that experience.
I value being present for families during this time. My role is to nurture the plan you’ve envisioned, reminding you to trust your strength to lead the way.
