Jamie Gangi

Jamie is from the beautiful village of Riverside, Il. She is a Birth and Baby University certified postpartum doula with a passion for caring for babies, children and the entire household. She is CPR certified, fully vaccinated with endless energy to provide individualized care to her clients. She provides daytime support to Mothers with a newborn as well as toddler care, offering assistance through the challenges of navigating these transformative life events.

Having worked for thirty years as a professional musical theater performer, Jamie was looking to make a career change that would provide stability for herself and daughter. She took a job as a full-time nanny, not realizing that is would completely change the trajectory of her life. Nannying fulfilled her in a way that theater never could. Following her passion to nurture both children and their families, she became a postpartum doula. Altogether, she has been providing unwavering support, guidance and dedication to families for fifteen years.

In her free time, you will find Jamie knitting, sometimes even for her clients, riding a bike or hiking with her lovely husband. She marvels at her grown daughter, Haley, her greatest gift and achievement in life.

This work is personal to me because I was a baby failing to thrive until I was adopted by the Gangi family who's love and care for me saved my life. I feel like I'm honoring my parents with each baby I hold and family I support. I personally connect with each child, especially through singing and music. It is a passion of mine to make each and every day a great one for my clients.
