Jenna Fitzgerald is a birth doula, family advocate, and co-founder of Stateline Birth Keepers serving families throughout Northern Illinois. As an Illinois Medicaid-approved birth doula, Jenna is passionate about making compassionate, high-quality birth support accessible to every family, regardless of background or circumstance. With more than 11 years of experience supporting women, children, and families through pregnancy, parenting, crisis, and life’s biggest transitions, she brings a calm, evidence-based, and deeply trauma-informed approach to every birth she attends.

Drawing on her background in child welfare, family advocacy, and community-based care, Jenna understands that every family’s journey is unique. She believes that the best support begins with listening—creating a safe space where parents feel seen, informed, and empowered to make the decisions that are right for them. Whether providing prenatal education, helping families prepare for labor, offering steady encouragement during birth, or guiding parents through the early postpartum period, Jenna is known for her reassuring presence, thoughtful advocacy, and unwavering commitment to helping families feel confident throughout the process.

Outside of birth work, Jenna is a devoted mother who finds joy in camping, exploring the outdoors with her children, and creating meaningful memories together. Her work is rooted in the belief that every family deserves to feel respected, supported, and cared for during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside families as they welcome a new baby and begin the next chapter of their story.
