Kala Rachal serves as a doula across life’s most sacred transitions—birth, postpartum, and end of life.
Her path began in Louisiana, where she was raised among community healers, and continued to evolve throughout her military career. She holds an MPH in Public Health along with multiple certifications in holistic practices such as yoga, sound therapy, and health coaching—each reflecting her commitment to supporting people in ways that honor their unique needs.
Kala trained with Mama Glow as a Birth Doula and The Dying Year as an End of Life Doula. For more than 16 years, she has followed a deep calling to guide young people and families through health education and holistic wellness services. Her work is both trauma-informed and healing-centered, shaped by her background in health coaching and sustained by her dedication to personal self-care.
Kala walks alongside families as a messenger and guide, bringing their needs and wishes into alignment so they feel supported, understood, and empowered to navigate their birth, postpartum, and end-of-life journeys with confidence.
Kala enjoys playing pickleball, exploring new interests, and finding joy in life’s simple comforts. Whether sipping tea, spending time in nature, or unwinding with a suspenseful movie, she embraces the present moment. To her, every day brings a new chance to discover, to connect, and to brighten someone’s life with a smile.
I believe that every parent deserves a safe and healthy birthing experience.
I'm here to remind you to slow down, trust yourself, and be present
