Keesha is a postpartum doula based in central and east Texas. Through her work, she brings dedication to supporting families in their transition to parenthood and restoring the philosophy of one's village. She is a certified postpartum doula and graduate of Gettysburg College with a degree in African Diaspora studies. She has worked with families across Texas since beginning her training in 2023.
Supplementary to her birthwork, Keesha has a background as a former birth doula, child birth educator and breastfeeding counselor working towards international board certification for lactation. Her approach is to guide and support to help families establish and maintain a positive relationship and breastfeeding experience. She aims to provide individualized care for each family, have them feel empowered, informed, and confident in their choices.
In addition to her focus on maternal health, Keesha was a military spouse for seven years and mother of three children. She is a former peer counselor and certification specialist for the WIC program, guiding families to meet their nutrition goals overall.
My hope is to help you feel supported. I want to help restore your village
