Lindsay Sears is a mother and student midwife based in Weatherford, Texas. She has been serving families as a birth and postpartum doula since 2020, when she completed her initial certification with Sacred Birthing School in Kauai, Hawai’i. In 2025, Lindsay deepened her training through DFW Community Birthing School in Texas, continuing to expand her skills and devotion to the families she serves. She is currently preparing for her second homebirth with midwives, embodying the very care she extends to her clients.
Lindsay was first called to birthwork after being invited to support five friends through their births in a single year, a life-changing experience that revealed her purpose. Her own homebirth and journey in motherhood further strengthened her dedication to walking alongside women during the sacred season of pregnancy and birth. Lindsay’s practice is mother-led and family-centered, rooted in faith, and guided by the belief that birth is both ministry and mystery. She weaves ancient tradition and ritual with prayer, compassion, and personalized support, meeting each family with reverence and presence.
Families who work with Lindsay describe her as grounding, nurturing, and deeply intuitive. With the motto “serve to heal,” she brings a steady heart, gentle guidance, and a commitment to honoring women’s voices in their birthing journey. Outside of birthwork, and midwifery school, Lindsay enjoys traveling, gardening, homeschooling her daughter and being active in her church community—rhythms of life that keep her connected, inspired, and grounded in service.
My favorite part of this work is walking alongside women and seeing them step into their strength and embrace the beauty of birth. I love seeing families and bellies grow. Being invited into these sacred and tender moments is both an honor and a calling.
