With over a decade of dedicated service in the nursing field, Meagan Mitchell has become a recognized expert in maternal child services. Her journey began after earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University, where she graduated with honors. This strong academic foundation paved the way for a successful career that has included practice in more than ten different inpatient facilities. Her expertise in managing all phases of labor—from assessments to delivery and post-partum care—has been instrumental in improving patient outcomes.

Meagan's career trajectory is marked by diverse experiences across multiple healthcare settings, including travel nursing roles in Texas, Louisiana, and California, which enriched her adaptability and broadened her clinical skills. At Kaiser Permanente, she made significant contributions as a Maternal Child Services nurse, where her role extended to triage and lactation consulting. During her tenure at Kaiser, she received the national Daisy Award for Excellence in Nursing in September 2023. Her involvement in the Chorioamnionitis Sepsis Work Group further demonstrates her commitment to advancing evidence-based practices and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
