Nyasia Countee is a birth and postpartum doula, IBCLC, maternal-infant health speaker, Evidence Based Birth® Instructor, Licensed American Red Cross Instructor, and obstetrical surgical technician based in Detroit, Michigan. She is the founder of Ancient Wisdom Birth Services, where she offers trauma-informed, culturally congruent care that honors ancestral traditions while embracing evidence-based practices. Nyasia specializes in supporting high-risk pregnancies, surgical births (including cesarean support), VBACs, home births, and natural births, meeting families exactly where they are on their journey.

With deep experience both inside and outside the hospital setting, Nyasia brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and holistic, client-centered care. As a member of the Michigan Doula Advisory Council, she is committed to expanding equitable, high-quality birth support across the state.
