Orion Clements is a Birth and Postpartum Doula based in Garland, TX. She and her husband Connor are happy parents to their baby boy, Isaac, and they enjoy going birding, gardening, and being foodies together.
With a background as a college pastor and teen minister, Orion’s core value is to help others to feel seen, heard, and understood in the messiness of life and to remind them of their immense worth, value and dignity as a human made in the Image of God. Since working with families in early 2025 as a certified Madriella Doula, she has lived out this value in how she treats her birthing families by creating a safe, welcoming, and personable environment through the labor and postpartum experience. Her heart is for people and their well-being before anything else.
Her ultimate goal as a doula is to make sure first time parents, especially, are set up to be educated and empowered about their birthing experience as they welcome their little one into this world. She firmly believes in being a life-long learner and is continuing to work on her own education through the Madriella Doula Network in specific areas like Bereavement and Grieving, Birth Education, and Supporting Young Parents.
One of my favorite parts of this work is getting to help parents feel confident about their decisions before, during, and after birth. Providing education, research, and confidence to the families I work with is one of the best ways I get to help parents feel empowered as they step into this new role.
