Patricia Beck

Patricia L Beck, is the mother of 3 adult children and 9 grandchildren, with one grandchild on the way. She has worked with children within ministry for over twenty years. She comes from a very large family and has frequent interaction in assisting family's members with their newborns as well as the children's growth.

She is a certified, insured Postpartum Doula, who is CRR certified by American Heart Association for infant, children and adults. Patricia became interested in becoming a Doula about 5 years ago, while in the delivery room with her daughter in-law, while her youngest grandson was being born. An Healthcare Professional walked in the room and noticed, Patricia was comforting mom and asked, "are you a Doula?" Patricia shared, "no, I'm sure I'm not because I don't know what that is." And the healthcare professional stated, you truly have presence of a one " That's when Patricia said to herself, "Wow I can get paid for assisting with a new life entering this world. Sign me up". Patricia being to investigate what it would require to become a Doula and 3yr later discovered Partum Health was journey she wanted to pursue to move her into this beautiful new career of being a Doula.

4 1/2 years later Patricia complete course for a full spectrum Doula. Patricia is patience, has a tender heart and I love for families. She is well versed and the dynamics of the different components of birth, such as; Vaginal, C-Section, Birthing Center non -medicate births. She has a calm spirit, she is professional, timely, reliable, trustworthy and open to families specific needs and organizational structure of their home as well family emotional concerns.

Patricia enjoys reading, she is very active in her church community, spending time with family, bowling, walking and travel.

Supporting families during the transition, of witnessing a new life coming into the world is a privilege because I get to witness a miracle in every new birth. Seeing the face of the parent as they embrace and show love to the new life they have brought into this world. It is truly amazing and exciting.
