Sabrina is a certified postpartum and birth doula who brings warmth, knowledge, and powerful presence to every family she serves. Her passion lies in holding space during one of life’s most sacred transitions: guiding birthing people and their families through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum with care that is rooted in trust, advocacy, and cultural awareness.
Sabrina received her birth doula training through DONA International, and later completed EMBRACE Full Spectrum Doula Training, where she expanded her skills to support individuals through the full reproductive journey, including fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and the tender experience of pregnancy or infant loss. She is now a Certified Postpartum Doula, and her work is grounded in both clinical understanding and lived compassion.
Sabrina began working in the birthing field through Catholic Charities in July 2024, serving families in underserved communities throughout the Chicagoland area. Her mission has always been to ensure that every birthing person—regardless of background, income, or circumstance—has access to respectful, affirming, and empowering doula care.
Now, she is furthering that mission by also serving families through Partum Health, continuing her commitment across a wider range of communities in the Chicagoland area. Through both organizations, Sabrina brings the same heartfelt dedication to meeting families exactly where they are, with compassion, knowledge, and the unwavering belief that everyone deserves a supported birth and postpartum experience.
As a Black doula, Sabrina is especially committed to culturally competent support, addressing disparities in maternal care, and showing up as a strong, steady presence in moments of both joy and vulnerability. Whether she’s helping someone prepare for birth, breathing through contractions beside them, or gently guiding them through the early weeks of parenthood, Sabrina leads with love, intention, and deep respect.
To her, this isn’t just work—it’s a calling. And it’s an honor she holds close with every family she walks beside.
My hope for you is that you feel seen, heard, and deeply supported—no matter what your journey into parenthood looks like. I truly believe that every family deserves care that is gentle, empowering, and rooted in love.
