Samantha Clay

Samantha Clay is a DONA International–Certified Birth Doula based in Dallas, Texas, supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with compassionate, evidence-informed care. Her journey into birth work was shaped by a childhood dream of becoming a nurse and her own experiences navigating pregnancy and birth, both with and without doula support. A history of pregnancy loss further deepened her commitment to showing up as a steady, informed presence during life’s most tender transitions.

Samantha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education Administration and combines her education with lived experience as a mother of four. She offers nonjudgmental, family-centered care and has a special interest in supporting families planning a VBAC. Samantha also has a strong interest in lactation support and plans to continue her education in this area to further support families in the postpartum period.

Her background as an Army veteran contributes to her calm, steady presence and her ability to advocate confidently for families within medical settings. Outside of doula work, she is a mother, entrepreneur, and caregiver who values balance, growth, and building a life rooted in intention. These lived experiences shape the way she shows up—present, patient, and deeply respectful of each family’s journey.
