Sarahi Hernandez

Sarahi Hernandez is a birth & postpartum doula based in Chicago, Illinois. She offers calm, nurturing, and evidence-based support to families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. 

Her journey into birth work began while serving as a case manager for pregnant patients and new parents, where she discovered a calling to provide more hands-on care. Since 2023, Sarahi has supported families as a community-based doula, offering birth planning assistance, resource connections, and lactation support partnered with development-centered parenting. Trained and certified with DONA International as a Birth Doula, she later became an EMBRACE Full-Spectrum Certified Doula to further expand her care. A graduate from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies, she brings inclusive, compassionate approach to every family she supports. 

Outside of work, she enjoys singing, baking, and spending time with her toddler.  

My favorite part of this work is walking alongside families during such a transformative season, reminding them they are strong, capable, and never alone.
