Taneisha Mitchell

Taneisha Mitchell is a full spectrum doula in Detroit, Michigan. She is excitingly ready to service women in childbirth and postpartum doula services. She's a mom of 7 children and the oldest child of 5. Therefore, caring for others is first nature for her. Due to Taneisha’s own transformative birthing experiences and always being a caretaker she has been inspired to become a doula.  After giving birth to her 5th child, she took an interest in the understanding of what a doula does and how to become one. 

Taneisha has a passion for serving women and their families throughout this amazing unique journey of childbirth. Taneisha accompanies women as they prepare for childbirth and support them during pregnancy, delivery and beyond. She is also in the process of becoming a lactation consultant. With her wisdom, understanding of birth, experience and breastfeeding knowledge she is fully able to support and advise women in their decision-making process to discover and understand the power we as women posse to bring a child into this world.
