Ty is a birth and postpartum doula supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. With a calm and compassionate presence, Ty is honored to be invited into some of the most intimate and transformative moments of family life. Her care is rooted in trust, attentive listening, and honoring each family’s values and choices.
She brings over 12 years of experience in the childcare industry to her doula practice, along with formal training as a certified birth and postpartum doula and certification in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Ty also holds a Master’s in Business Administration and is currently a midwifery student, continuing to deepen her understanding of physiologic birth and family-centered care. This combination of hands-on experience, education, and ongoing training allows her to support families with both confidence and compassion.
Ty was drawn to birth work through her long-standing passion for caring for families and supporting parents and newborns during tender transitions. Families often describe her as grounding, nurturing, and attentive. She believes birth works best when families feel heard, supported, and empowered, and she strives to create a calm, reassuring space where parents can trust their bodies and their instincts.
I’m here to remind you that you are the expert on your own body and your baby. My favorite part of this work is walking alongside families as they navigate birth and early parenthood with confidence and support. At the end of the day, my goal is for you to feel safe, empowered, and never alone.
