Veyon Rowland

With over 30 years of experience in nursing, Veyon Rowland is a dedicated lactation consultant nurse whose passion lies in empowering and supporting mothers through their breastfeeding journey. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and has spent her career helping families build strong, healthy beginnings through education, compassion, and hands-on care.

Veyon currently serves at the University of Illinois Health Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where she provides expert lactation consulting and comprehensive nursing care. Her role includes assessing and supporting breastfeeding mothers, preparing and administering medications, managing controlled substances, and administering IV therapies with precision and care.

Throughout her career, Veyon has earned a reputation for her compassionate bedside manner, clinical expertise, and commitment to patient education. She believes that empowering mothers with the right knowledge and support not only enhances their confidence but also fosters healthier outcomes for both mother and child.

I am a very caring individual and this shows in the fact that I have been a registered nurse for 35 years.
