Winifred Burton

Winifred has been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2010. She has provided postpartum care in a small community hospital birth center, worked in a level IV NICU, and spent five years at Oslo University Hospital Ullevål in the pediatrics department, with a focus on infant feeding and non-invasive respiratory support. In addition, she is licensed as a midwife in community settings in a nearby state. Winifred has cared for families through pregnancy and the early stages of parenting across two countries and four states. Her midwifery journey brought her back to the United States in 2023, and in 2025 to Chicago, where she has chosen to make her home.
