Yolanda Robinson Manuel

Yolanda is a full spectrum doula that lives in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Yolanda enjoys serving families through their birthing experiences. Yolanda operates in excellence and integrity while bringing the spirit of calmness and patience through the entire birthing process. Yolanda is very professional and gentle when helping families through their birth experiences.

Yolanda was certified as a Doula in early 2024. Yolanda gained experience through shadowing a more experience Doula when she began. In September 2024 the Doula that she worked under went out on maternity leave and felt that Yolanda was experienced enough to take on her clients. This gave Yolanda multiple clients and more experience as a Doula. Yolanda is certified in child-birthing education and has volunteered with social services and with community events to support new mothers and their families. 

Yolanda wanted to be an obstetrician growing up, but she was led to serve and support in other areas. Yolanda has always had a special love for caring for newborns. When the opportunity presented itself in early 2024 to become a Doula. Yolanda jumped at the chance. Yolanda knew that it was her chance to do what she always desired to do. Yolanda believes that helping families with the birthing process is an amazing opportunity of a lifetime. The one thing that brings joy to Yolanda is bringing life from the womb to Earth. 

Yolanda is supported and appreciated by the families that she has served. Yolanda‘s motherly demeanor, her reliability and her experiences as a Doula has prepared and equipped Yolanda to serve the families professionally no matter the outcome. 

When Yolanda is not supporting families, she spends time with her grandchildren, taking long walks, and reading a good book.

My joy is full, knowing I can bring peace to your labor and birthing experience. When I think about the families, I support, I want them to be confident in knowing that I am with them throughout their birthing journey.
