Paige Morrisey

Bio

Paige Morrisey is a trained birth doula originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, and based out of Chicago, Illinois. Paige cares deeply about supporting families in their transition through birth and in the postpartum period.

Throughout her professional career, her emphasis has been on sexual and reproductive health. As an intern at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health, she supported the hospital’s community health program, which included a range of prenatal classes. As a volunteer at Loving Arms Childbirth Services, she supported new parents in childbirth education classes through pain management techniques, massage, and group facilitation. As a program assistant on the health team at Futures Without Violence, she provided support for trainings for healthcare providers to better support the health needs of sexual assault survivors. In this role, she focused on the connection between violence and maternal health outcomes, and supporting the health of pregnant survivors. Paige also has additional training from Birth Advocacy in birth and disability.

Paige plans to bring her warm, empathetic, and adaptable nature to this work. She is so excited to support new parents in this great transition!
